
Good trait before then, but becomes incredible at R3 and really separates Zizania from the pack.
What Pierce does is ignore defensive traits and effects (Dodge Area, Taunt, Mega Taunt, Evasion, Elemental damage protection) etc as well as Shielding relics so Tenacity, Atum’s Armor, etc, allowing Zizania to single out and eliminate the main enemy threats like no other in the game can. Finally at Rank 3 you add a self two turn Pierce to yourself. It’s a small difference but anything that reduces your accuracy/damage output can be dangerous, so it’s a good secondary trait to have. At Rank 1 you add a Daze Immunity on top of that. Unranked you have Hardened, nothing special or flashy, but a good base layer of protection.
Of course with an Evolving Trait, Zizania’s usability for some will be higher than others.
Evolving Trait- Hardened (R0), Hardened + Daze Immunity (R1), Hardened + Daze Immunity + SC: Self Pierce at start of battle. Overall really solid stats, nothing crazy but very good. As for her Speed it’s about middle of the pack for attackers. The base Power is ideal, very strong but doesn’t overcompensate and lead to lesser stats elsewhere. Jumping right into things with stats, the Life while I thought would be higher, is enough to tank a shot from some lesser attackers, and in combination with her skills makes her great for survival.
